Fotini Diella

Fotini Diella was born in Athens in 1977. After studying Graphic Design she worked as a typographer for an advertisement agency employing a handmade silkscreen method. In 2001 she was awarded a sponsorship by the European Program Leonardo Da Vinci to work as a Set Designer for the Kumulus Theater of Maastricht, Holland. In 2010 she graduated from Athens School of Fine Arts.

Fotini creates installations that combine neon signs, ceramic sculptures, acrylics and objects of everyday life and popular culture. The work focuses on the merging of reality and illusion, it points out the luck of objectivity in the five senses, especially that of vision.

Fotini has participated in several exhibitions:

Born in Preveza (1968). Studied at the Athens School of Fine
Arts (studio of D. Sakellion). Ranked from the Hellenic
Naval Academy, and graduated from the Supreme
Joint War College. He has presented 2 solo exhibitions
and participated in many group exhibitions.
Lives and works in Athens.
